We can only hope that Ueda decides to revisit some of the discarded ideas from Shadow of the Colossus for his next game. There are several reasons why developers leave surprisingly useful content on the cutting room floor. Is a director's cut of Shadow of the Colossus coming? Would adding all the cut content have made a different for Shadow of the Colossus? We'll probably never know.
